9:12am-Hanson's dressing room
Isaac Hanson stared across the room at his nervously moving younger brother. It was pathetic, his brother, Taylor was struggling to decide whether to wear his tight black leather pants or some tight silver pants he picked up when they were in London.
Of all the things he could have worn, he wouldn't have minded, but Isaac's mind was based on the one fact why Taylor would wear those things on live television. It was that new band that was here in the studios. He tried to remember the group's name, but it didn't come. All he remembered were their real names: Audrey, Elizabeth and Angie. They were all close to the ages of the members of Hanson. Angie was 13, Audrey was 14, and Elizabeth was only 15, but in Isaac's eyes, she looked 17.
Isaac smiled, he had seen posters of the girls, and he was sure he had a thing for Elizabeth. She wasn't exactly tall; in fact she was about Zac's height. She had heavenly blue eyes and a figure any guy would go for in a flash. And then he smiled. The band was joining them on tour with a few other bands for a thing called "The End of the World Tour". It has mostly teen idol bands in it, and they were playing around England, Canada and the States.
"Taylor," Isaac yelled from across the room after he changed into a blue silky shirt, "What is that band's name with those three girls?"
"Umm... I dunno. I think they're called 'N Trance?" Taylor shrugged. Personally, Taylor didn't give a shit about what the band was called. All he knew was he wanted Audrey, and he wanted her bad. In fact, since he was the most normal guy on the tour, he knew someway, somehow he'd have her all to himself.
Just then both brothers looked up to see Zac storm into the room, huffing and puffing. "Whoa..." was all he could say.
"What the fuck happened to you?" Isaac shouted just as his brother collapsed onto the floor. Both of Zac's older brothers rushed to his side.
"Man, look outside the dressing room..."
Taylor stood up, walked up to the door, and pulled it open a crack. He slammed it as soon as he heard the all too familiar screams of fans.
"Oh, shit," Taylor said as he backed himself into the door.
"They're...they're not trying to break down the door today," Isaac laughed, "that means they're not screaming about us."
The three brothers automatically looked at the ground and pouted. Then the large pounding happened on the door, and the three boys looked up in fear as the door came flying open.
9:12am-'N Trance's dressing room
"Audrey!" Elizabeth screamed at her friend.
"What?" Audrey looked at her with suspicion.
"Have you seen my red docs?"
"No."
"Come on, I know you're lying. Ever since I bought those shoes, you've been trying to steal them!"
"I have not! I said they were ugly, I never said I'd steal them."
Elizabeth sighed and continued searching the room.
"Angie?"
"No Liz, I haven't seen your shoes either," Angie smiled as she looked up from reading another one of her steamy romance novels.
"Just great, just great," Elizabeth threw her arms up in the air, "What else could possibly happen to me!"
"Calm down, they'll show up," Audrey said, placing another clip in her blonde hair.
"Did you guys know that Hanson's dressing room is right across the room from us?" Angie said placing her novel down. "Imagine that, they're like...dressing."
Audrey and Elizabeth just stared at their younger friend as she laughed wickedly.
"Wow, that's amazing," Elizabeth rolled her eyes.
"Yeah... Wow, like we care," Audrey added.
Angie looked at both of her friends like they were from another planet. Here were two of Hanson's biggest fans saying they didn't care that Hanson was dressing in the room across from theirs.
Audrey pulled Elizabeth into the other room, "Liz, did you hear what Angie said?!"
"Uh-huh."
"This is it! We can meet them!"
"But uh... If we're on tour with them, wouldn't we meet them any ways?"
"Yeah, but I doubt we could hold a conversation with them backstage with fans and everything. Besides we're all in different buses and there's tons of other bands!"
"Okay, but I doubt they'd like us."
"Remember, dreams do come true."
"Dreams Do Come True," was of course, their first single worldwide. It was at the top of the charts at the moment.
A tall blonde lady with an English accent, it was their manager Stacey, came into the room, just as Elizabeth and Audrey walked back to Angie, "Guys, it's your turn for the interview."
"THERE THEY ARE!" Elizabeth screamed when she spotted her red docs underneath the couch Angie was sitting on. She quickly put the shoes on and ran out the door, followed by Angie, Audrey and their manager. They had just stepped out of the room, when the shrieks of screams rang into the ears.
"How'd they get back here?" Stacey screamed to one of the security guys.
In a minute, the 8 girls were removed, that were making enough noise to sound like 20 girls.
"Oh my..." Angie tapped Audrey hard on the shoulder.
"...God," Elizabeth and Audrey finished the sentence.
"Hi, I'm Zac H-"
"I'm sorry Zachary, the girls have to go on now. You'll have to talk to them later," Stacey said smiling. "Come on girls, hurry up."
Angie smiled at Zac, and the other two girls had to push her to get further up the hall. They saw the small boy walk back into the room.
The three girls took deep breaths and then walked through the deep blue curtains onto the setting of a new show in LA called "Pop Culture", which was one of the top television shows for Pop bands to come on and talk about their success.
Elizabeth being the bold one sat the closest to the host, David Richards, on a red chair, while Angie and Audrey sat on the red couch.
"Well, hello girls. Welcome to Pop Culture," the man smiled at the three girls, "Can you all introduce yourselves?"
"Hi, I'm Elizabeth, otherwise known as Trix," Elizabeth said, pulling strands off her loose hair behind her ears.
"Hey, I'm Audrey, AKA Daisy Hanson," Audrey tried to smile, but couldn't. She was way too nervous to smile.
"Yo! Yo! Yoooo!" Of course, Angie was going to do that, she always did. "I'm Angie, just plain Angie."
The interview went on as usual, with useless questions to answers everyone already knew.
All the girls could think about was the chance of meeting their dream guys backstage. Little did they know, that the boys were thinking the same things about them.
12:00pm-Back At the Hotel
Isaac and Taylor had come to learn that their younger brother had truly experienced the word 'love'. In fact when he came in the room only a few hours ago, it had been because he had seen the girl band, known as 'N Trance.
The door being slammed open was of course, their manager Chris. Thank god it wasn't their crazy fans. It's not like Taylor minded having fans stop by his change room, it had happened many times before to him.
He snickered at the though, even though he wasn't willing to go all the way, he still could get a girl to do practically anything to him.
"Taylor, me and Ike are going to the McDonalds downstairs, do you want to come?" Zac said, waving his hands in front of his dazed brother.
"Yeah, sure," Taylor grabbed his silver jacket, that ironically matched his silver skintight pants. As they walked down, Taylor heard the nervous laughter of girls come down from the hall and decided to wait a minute.
"Taylor?" Isaac shouted from the elevator.
"Go, I'll get the next one," He smiled as he saw it was 'N Trance. His eyes instantly rested on Audrey, as he watched them approach him.
"Hey there ladies," He smiled with his shy-sweet sensory that he often showed to fans.
He took Audrey's hand, "Audrey is it?"
Taylor noticed her friends look towards her, "Um, Audrey we're taking the stairs. See you downstairs."
"Want to take a ride with me?" Taylor didn't mean for it to sound sick, but it just came out that way. "I mean, on the elevator." He sighed; he covered that one up good.
"Sure," they both walked into the elevator where Taylor finally noticed the whole outfit she was wearing. She had a loose white skirt on, with a baby pink faux sweater on, her small feet were stuck in a pair of two inch sneaker platforms, and her blonde hair was done up in bobby pins and loose strands of it hung loosely around her thinly shaped face.
More than anything, he wanted to fuck her right there and now, even if it was an elevator.
"So, you're the guitarist?" he asked, feeling stupid.
"Uh? Oh yeah," Audrey didn't want to say anything, but she was having a hard time not to scream.
Not wasting anytime, and he knew what her answer was already; he spoke up, "So, do you like me?"
Audrey was blown away, "Huh? What kind of question is that?"
"Well..." Taylor was about to say more, when the elevator doors slide open to reveal both the rest of Hanson and 'N Trance waiting.
Taylor didn't want to laugh, but he noticed that his brother Isaac looked a little "too" happy to be standing beside Elizabeth. Even though Isaac was only wearing his brown cords, Taylor was happy his brother wasn't wearing them tight today.
"So, where you girls going to lunch?" Zac spoke up.
"Well, I dunno. I want to just have a salad or something," Elizabeth sighed, she looked hungry.
"I want McDonalds," Audrey said smiling at the ground.
"Well all I know is, I want food," Angie smiled.
"McDonald's it is then," Zac smiled and then held out a hand to Angie. Her whole face lit up and she took his hand in hers and the both of them bolted towards the bright yellow arch.
"They better have salad," Elizabeth sighed and quickened her pace. Audrey rushed up to her friend, leaving Isaac and Taylor behind.
"She's got a nice ass," Isaac complimented.
"Both of them," Taylor smiled.
12:35pm-McDonalds
"So, do you guys know when we take off?" Audrey asked, while munching on Taylor's fries.
"Um, I think we're leaving today around 3pm,"Isaac smiled.
Isaac was sitting beside Elizabeth who was quietly listening to her Discman, Audrey sat across from Isaac, and Taylor sat beside Audrey, who had said she wasn't really hungry, but had ate half of Taylor's meal. Zac and Angie were sitting at another table, loudly chatting.
Being experienced with romancing girls, Isaac, while in mid conversation with Audrey, placed his hand on the exposed tanned thigh Elizabeth was showing with her denim shorts.
Elizabeth gave Isaac the look that could kill a person, and then it faded away, as she slid his hand off her leg.
She couldn't believe it... Isaac Hanson liked her. Of all people!
"Um, I'm going to go to the bathroom," She announced nervously.
Audrey eyed her suspiciously, Taylor stared across at Isaac with questioning eyes, and Ike was completely baffled. Here was a girl who had defiantly shown him she showed no interest in him.
"She likes Taylor," Isaac silently cursed. "I just know it. Everyone likes Taylor."
At that moment, Isaac felt a deep burning sensation grow through his body. What was it? Was he angry with Taylor? Was he angry with Elizabeth?
No, Audrey had spilt hot coffee on him.
2:45pm-Outside The Hotel
"What the fuck do you mean it's not operable," Audrey screeched at their bus driver Jimmy.
"I'm sorry, I can't drive this the way it is," Jimmy protested.
"We pay you to drive and you're going to drive!"
"What's the matter?" Elizabeth asked, approaching her angry friend with her travel bag.
"Jimmy broke the bus down, we can't go on tour," Angie said from where she was sitting on the side of the sidewalk. "This sucks."
"No way!" Elizabeth screamed.
The three angry girls didn't even notice Diana Hanson, when she walked up behind them, "What's the matter girls?"
Audrey and Elizabeth jumped, and spun around out of surprise.
"Hi Mrs. Hanson," Angie said as she stood up, and wiped the dirt off her butt.
"Our bus broke down," Audrey looked like she wanted to cry. "We can't go on tour now."
Elizabeth kept her mouth shut, she knew if she opened it only curses of anger would escape.
"Well, wait just a minute. All the buses don't take off yet," Diana hurried across the parking lot, and in moments was out of sight from within all the other buses.
"Oh my god," Elizabeth squealed.
"What?" Audrey searched the lot for something that would have excited her friend.
"Isn't that the 'N Sync bus?" Elizabeth sighed.
Automatically Audrey knew why her friend was excited. Before the girls had become big, which was only a few months ago, Elizabeth had met 'N Sync. She went partying with them and then gotten drunk with the guys and had quite a night with Lance. He even called her ever so often, to 'see-what-she-was-up-to' as he called it. Audrey knew she still thought of the guy.
"I wonder where Lance is?" Angie chuckled.
"I wonder..." Elizabeth smiled. "Who's all playing Audrey?"
"Um, No Authority, us, Hanson, 'N Sync, the Backstreet Boys, the Spice Girls, and Five," Audrey said.
"Well, I think I'll go say hi to the guys," Elizabeth said running off towards the bus labeled: 'N Sync.
"Don't be too long!"
2:50pm-The Hanson Bus
"Um, boys, if I were to ask you to do a favor," Diana said as she sat down in one chair. "Would you be willing to do it?"
"Well that depends Mom, what's the favor?" Isaac said in a low tone, due to the fact he was still angry about the coffee deal.
"Well, 'N Trance's bus was broken down, and I thought you guys could share some of the compartment room with them?"
Taylor could feel his heart skip over twice, and his breathing became irregular. Just the thought of Audrey sleeping by him, made all his blood rush to one spot. He quickly grabbed a pillow to hide the little too noticeable thing that had just 'popped up'.
"Great," Isaac thought. "Just fucking great. Elizabeth, the girl of my dreams is staying with us for the trip. Sleeping near us. Eating with us. And she likes Taylor!"
Of all the thoughts he just experienced, he decided it would be a good idea for Elizabeth and the rest of 'N Trance to join them.
Zac didn't know what to say, he was sure happy though that he'd have Angie close to him for a particle of the trip. He noticed both his brothers looked odd with the question, and he couldn't figure out why Taylor had that stupid pillow in between his legs. He thought he looked like a freak or something.
"Yes!" They all said, sounding a little too happy.
3:00pm- 'N Sync's Bus
"Chris!" Elizabeth shouted at the first member of the band she saw. He freely took her into his open arms.
"Hey there Lizzy," He planted a kiss on her cheek, "How have you been?"
"Great!" Elizabeth smiled as she noticed Justin and J.C approach the two. "Um...Where's Lance?"
"Hey girl!" Justin yelled and hugged her tight. "Wait to go on the success. To think, you used to dream of being big, and already eight months into the business you're hitting it big!"
J.C just looked down at his feet, and managed a small hello. J.C was the one that first noticed Elizabeth at the concert. He had been the one to drag her backstage to meet the guys. But Lance had been the one who flirted with her, and practically seduced her into his arms. And the worst part for J.C was that Elizabeth didn't even know he liked her. He never had a chance.
Then Joey came up to the group with a large grin on his face, "Elizabeth?"
"Yeah, it's me in the flesh!"
"Holy shit, I would have never noticed in you in a crowd," He hugged her like the rest. "Man, you look like 19!"
Elizabeth laughed, "I wish! Now, will someone tell me where my little sweetie is?"
Her answer was soon followed by a smooth pair of hands sliding around her waist and a blonde headed smile planting a kiss on her cheek. He walked around her and Elizabeth came face to face with Lance.
"Lance..." Elizabeth felt hot tears sting her eyes as she looked into the all too beautiful face of Lance Bass.
"Hey Liz," Lance's lips came near Elizabeth's and the rest of the guys took the clue to leave. Elizabeth and Lance weren't the ones to be doing PDA, but they both didn't care. It had been so long since they saw it each other. His hands went to her lower back and pressed her body against his. Lance leaned into her while still standing. Lance coaxed her lips apart as his tongue penetrated through. His mouth enveloped hers as his hand moved from her back to casually stroke her hair. This was truly going to be a kiss they'd both have more than once during the tour.
3:14pm- Hanson's Bus
Taylor twisted the knob of the handle just enough to open the blinds and let the deep streaks of sun fall through into the bus. He looked around the lot, every band was preparing to depart in a few minutes, even the Spice Girls had already left just five minutes ago. Taylor was so happy that when Emma decided to change, she happened to leave her blinds down. But now the Spice Girl bus was gone and showed another one, the 'N Sync bus. And from what he saw, one of the guys was having a good time so far on the tour.
"Hey Ike," Taylor shouted at his brother who was nervously trying to open a tiny bottle of alcohol he had found in the mini-bar. "Look at those two get at it."
Taylor squinted his eyes, "Isn't that Elizabeth?"
That got Isaac's attention and he briskly threw the small bottle on the couch and joined his brother by the window, "Lance Bass? She passed me up for Lance Bass!"
Taylor looked at his older brother, he never looked so angry, and so upset before in his life. He looked like he was going to cry, but then on the other hand he looked like he was going to go jump through the window and tear the two 'lovers' apart from their embrace.
Finally the two split apart and Taylor almost screamed when he saw Audrey run up to them both. It was a long conversation, and then Lance kissed Elizabeth, whispered something in her ear and then hoped into the bus, the bus took off and left the two girls standing talking.
Isaac and Taylor both watched as Audrey spoke to Elizabeth and then Elizabeth screamed something and threw her arms up in the air. Then with tears in her eyes stormed off towards their bus.
3:16pm- Outside The 'N Sync Bus
Elizabeth was the first one to pull away from Lance's lingering lips, when she heard her frantic friend Audrey run up to the couple.
Lance kept hold of Elizabeth's hand as he turned to stand beside her.
"We can go now," Audrey smiled. "We have a ride."
"With who?" Elizabeth asked curiously.
"Hanson."
The moment Audrey said that, Elizabeth's heart skipped a few beats. She tried- no, she forced herself to act normal. She had worked hard to get back into Lance's life and here she was, so near. She wouldn't let the fact that Isaac liked her too get in the way. Now that they'd be sharing a bus, it would be impossible to escape from Isaac's deep pools of brown, that he called eyes.
"Lance, move it!" J.C called from the side of the bus.
"Be right there," Lance smiled.
"I'll see you later," Lance whispered into Elizabeth's ear and then gave her a sweet kiss on the cheek.
After the 'N Sync bus had left, Audrey began blabbing again about Hanson.
"...Just imagine, we'll be practically sleeping with them," Elizabeth
noticed her friend was practically melting at the thought.
"Audrey, just stop it!" Elizabeth screamed.
Open-eyed, Audrey stared at her friend strangely. Elizabeth never yelled at her like that. In fact, Elizabeth never yelled at her. Elizabeth NEVER yelled over anything!
"Listen, I can't loose Lance over Isaac's stupid little flirting games," Elizabeth threw both her arms up into the air. "I like them both, but I know I'll never forgive myself if I loose Lance over Ike."
And with that, Elizabeth ran towards their bus with hot tears streaming down her face, leaving her friend baffled.
